Shadows on the Move: Unmarked Convoys and The Ridge's Secret

It started with an observation—a simple note in one of my many logs. Unmarked vehicles, all black, no insignia, cruising down rural Route 64 past Mile Marker 17. At first, I chalked it up to coincidence, or perhaps a funeral procession I wasn't aware of. But as the days passed, the pattern became unmistakable. Every third day, precisely at 15:17, the convoy would pass. Three vehicles, always. Remember—things happen in threes, always.

My curiosity piqued, I decided to dig deeper. Utilizing my trusty binoculars and setting up a discreet observation post at The Ridge, I kept watch. The Ridge, known for its clear signals and, ironically, its proximity to one of our infamous Dead Zones, provided the perfect vantage point. The vehicles weren't just passing through; they were stopping, unloading equipment, and—most intriguingly—sending aerial drones into the air.

I documented these occurrences systematically, noting each time the drones launched and returned. The pattern was clear: the drones were deployed for approximately 47 minutes at a time—there's that number again, 47, the counter-number. This operation was occurring on the edge of the Dead Zone, a place where electronics notoriously fail, yet these drones operated without issue. How?

Through encrypted shortwave transmissions, I've occasionally picked up what I believe are communications between these convoys and an unknown base. The signal-to-noise ratio is getting worse, but snippets of conversation include references to 'survey progress' and 'anomaly containment.'

Preliminary conclusions: This isn't just a routine government survey. The timing, the equipment, and the location—all tied to known anomalies—suggest a coordinated effort to monitor, or possibly intervene in, the phenomena surrounding the Dead Zones and The Ridge. Could they be studying the same patterns we are? Or is there something more at play?

So, I leave you with these questions: What exactly are they looking for or trying to contain? And more importantly, why the secrecy if this is for the public's good?

As always, document everything. Stay vigilant. And remember, the numbers don't lie, but they don't always tell the whole truth either.

I'm curious what you think. Here are a few questions to consider:

  • 1What exactly are they looking for or trying to contain?
  • 2Why the secrecy if this is for the public's good?
