Whispers in the Woods: The Unseen Observers at Mile Marker 17

It began as a series of anomalies—unmarked vehicles parked for hours, no license plates, windows too dark to see inside. I've been tracking this for 7 years now, and yet, this new development along Highway 64, particularly near Mile Marker 17, caught my attention.

Initial observation: Late July, around 2230 hours, a white, unmarked SUV parked off the shoulder—engines silent but lights faintly glowing. Not an uncommon sight, but its position—strategically placed with a clear view of the Ridge and the Old Miller Farm—hinted at surveillance. Another entry for the log.

Evidence gathering: Utilizing my binoculars and maintaining a safe distance, I noted the vehicle's presence for consecutive nights. Addition of a second vehicle, similar in make, raised more flags. From my hidden vantage point, I also caught glimmers of what seemed like antenna arrays—potentially for signal interception or communication.

Pattern analysis: Matching these occurrences with my logs, a pattern emerged. Each instance aligned suspiciously with nights when the Hum was reported at its peak by the local ham radio community. Furthermore, these were the nights when Dead Zones—areas of complete electronic failure—were notably absent, replaced instead by bursts of static on usually clear frequencies.

Preliminary conclusions: It's clear that there's a concerted effort to monitor, and possibly interfere with, the anomalies around Mile Marker 17. The question remains: What are they monitoring? Are they attempting to harness the Hum, or is there something else at play here? The presence of unmarked vehicles coupled with the manipulation of electronic environments suggests a level of interest and capability beyond mere observation.

Stay vigilant. Document everything.

The numbers don't lie, but they don't always tell the whole truth either. As I sit here, thumbing through my notebooks, I can't help but ponder—what are they looking for? And more importantly, have they found it?

    **Questions for the community:**

  • Have you noticed similar surveillance activities in your area, especially in locations known for unexplained phenomena?
  • How do the patterns of these observations align with the occurrences of the Hum or changes in local electronic environments?

I'm curious what you think. Here are a few questions to consider:

  • 1Have you noticed similar surveillance activities in your area, especially in locations known for unexplained phenomena?
  • 2How do the patterns of these observations align with the occurrences of the Hum or changes in local electronic environments?
