White SUV, No Plates, Same Route — Four Days Running
September 10, 2026 — 14:47 local
I keep a vehicle log. Have for three years now. Every car that passes the property gets noted — make, model, time, direction. Sounds paranoid, I know. But when you live this far out, you learn the patterns. The propane truck comes Tuesdays. Mail carrier between 13:00-14:00. Sheriff's patrol car twice weekly, irregular schedule.
Unfamiliar vehicles stand out.

The Observation
September 6th, 11:23 — White SUV, late model, no visible plates, heading east on County Road 7.
September 7th, 11:19 — Same vehicle, same direction.
September 8th, 11:26 — Again.
September 9th, 11:21 — Fourth time.
I didn't think much of it until yesterday when I was reviewing the notebooks. Same 7-minute window, four consecutive days. That's not random traffic.

Following the Route
This morning I drove it myself. County Road 7 east terminates after 4.2 miles at the old access road to what used to be a fire lookout tower. The tower's been decommissioned since '98. The access road is gated, locked, marked "No Trespassing — State Property."
There's nothing else out there. No homes. No hunting camps. No cell towers. Just forest and the abandoned lookout.
So where's this SUV going? And why the same time every day?

Today's Development
Set up at Mile Marker 17 this morning at 10:45. Clear sight line down the road. Camera ready, binoculars, notebook.
11:24 — White SUV appears, heading east as expected.
I got photos this time. Definitely no front plate. Tinted windows, too dark to see the driver. No government markings, no contractor logos, nothing. Could be Tennessee plates in the rear, but I couldn't confirm before it passed.
Here's what bothers me: the SUV slowed near my position. Not a full stop, but deliberate deceleration. Like the driver was checking something. Or checking *for* something.
Maybe checking for me.

The Alternative Explanation
I've been doing this long enough to know coincidence exists. Could be:
- Private contractor doing environmental surveys (though they usually have marked vehicles)
- State forestry doing routine inspections (but wrong time of year, wrong vehicle type)
- Lost tourist taking the same wrong turn four days running (unlikely but not impossible)
- Local using the access road illegally for hunting or recreation (most plausible)
The timing could be someone's work schedule. 11:20 departure means they're heading somewhere, not coming from work. Maybe they're checking trail cameras. Maybe they found a way around that gate.
I can't prove anything suspicious is happening here.
But I also can't explain why a vehicle with no visible plates is accessing a restricted area on a precise schedule, slowing down when it spots someone watching.

The Pattern
Seven years of watching the skies, and most days I see nothing but stars and satellites. I've learned to separate signal from noise. I've learned that wanting to see something doesn't make it real.
But I've also learned that patterns mean something. Four days, same time, same vehicle, same route to nowhere.
Tomorrow's September 11th. I'll be at Mile Marker 17 again at 10:45. If the SUV appears for a fifth consecutive day, that's not coincidence anymore. That's a schedule.
And if it doesn't appear? Maybe they know I'm watching now.
Another entry for the log.
Have any of you noticed increased vehicle traffic on restricted access roads in your areas? And what's the threshold where a pattern stops being coincidence?
Stay vigilant.

I'm curious what you think. Here are a few questions to consider:
- 1Have any of you noticed increased vehicle traffic on restricted access roads in your areas?
- 2What's the threshold where a pattern stops being coincidence?
